Background Story -------------------------------------------------

It’s 1972. Love is free. Flipflops, English leather and bandanas are the height of fashion. Meanwhile the Cold War is more than lukewarm and a real one is going on overseas. Movements are happening. Environmentalists, the female liberties movement, and on the dance floors an entirely different kind of movement is overtaking the underground clubs. The winds of change are certainly blowing over the country.

Somewhere in the big city, in a tall, faceless government building someone left a window open. All the winds of change are doing here is blowing leaves all over Joe’s newly-swept floor. He’s been there for two years now. Working a dead-end attendant job making sure the building is as spotless as the suits walking the halls. It’s been like this for years, going from one soul-devouring job to the next.

Our protagonist is Joe in more than just name. He is quite literally Joe Average. Average height, average weight, average IQ. In fact, the only thing remotely remarkable about him is exactly how much he conforms to the median of the hypothetical everyman, and up until this point, Joe’s life hasnt exactly been biography material.

This is all about to change...

Pros and cons of The Silent Age app for iPhone and iPad

The Silent Age app good for

You know what? It is all about logic. BGM is good! Very interesting stories.
This story is as deep as it can get. But (SPOILER ALERT) how did a virus that killed billions be able to be cured in 2012?
Listen, House on fire has done a great job on making this game, But why did they make it a higher version?... I really wanted to play episode 2 but my IPad is way too old. This game is really good and has a good storyline, but I am REALLY REALLY and I mean REALLY upset that I cant update it. If u guys change it for a lower version, I thank u. This game is a beautiful game. And apperantly u need to pay for episode 2. I cant do that. But I thank u for making this game. Thank u again and bye. This was an awesome game and my only complaint is it was over too quickly!
Great storyline that played out like a movie and visual unique,I loved every moment!! Please make more ;)
The game is really nice, but the fact that you have to pay for episode 2 is what made me give 4 stars

Some bad moments

I was having SOO much fun with this app, and then the dumb wounded old guy started swearing!! Like, whats WRONG with you people?!?
At times it felt like the clues where presenting them selves. I love these kinds of problem solving, I was hoping for more for the price. Having said that it was an entertaining story!
I give it two because I cant give it more than two and a half, cant give demos five stars. I wont be playing this forever so wont be purchasing the rest of it :)...
This is absolutely an incredible game/story. It was engrossing. You can play the first episode for free, then its $5.99 to keep playing. I assumed that there would be many more episodes, given the cost - which is quite high for an app. There was one more episode, which was as great as the first one - till the end. The end was just sort of abrupt and didnt resolve the storyline. This was the kind of story that couldve kept going with more episodes, but the app made it clear that the game was finished. Although I enjoyed the game, I wouldnt have paid $5.99 for just a few hours of game time had I known. Even though the quality of the game is 4 or 5 stars, Im giving it two stars for charging almost $6 for a few hours of game play, especially since its not a game that you can play again with different results or anything like that. Perhaps they will decide to continue the story & let us unlock new episodes for $.99 or something. That would make a huge difference.
This game can be finished in about 10-15 minutes not worth the five dollars spent. The developers couldve made more of the story and play time and actually got people on board with the price.
I would play the game but its hard to understand because no English
