This game makes you feel eerie in the best type of way. With an amazing story, this is the 5th time in almost 10 years that I have come back to play it.

considering this is my first ever review on anything the game is so worth it . i immediately finished the game within one day . ive played alot of games in my life from gameboy , ps , ds , switch , console , pc , phone . this has to be one of my favorite games ive ever played . ive always been a sucker for a game with a good story line . the immersion i have with this game is scary . i took a nap after episode one and i had a dream i was in the game trying to get to archon . ive woken up and bought episode two and cannot believe how good it is . ive played and completed this story multiple times before since it came out . and every single time i love it even more . this is a game with artistic value , a great story , and love the era they chose for it to be in . the music the eerie feeling you get when you go to the future . buying episode two is so worth the money . youll find yourself coming back to play it again . i promise if youre like “why pay for ep 2” its so worth it . i think the idea of not paying for ep 1 is so good to get people hooked then your pay for the value in the whole game for ep 2 . yes some people are going to complain about it but at how much work they put into this game they deserve to get paid for it . because this is a game im now going to make my husband play and my sister . thank you creators for caring about what makes a story game in a style like this so enjoyable . everything felt so important to do it felt like i was in real life trying to save humanity . anyways buy that episode two you wont regret it .

This game genuinely is worth getting. Don’t listen to the haters! When I finished episode 1 I immediately wanted episode 2, and let me tell you it was so worth it. After finishing this game again I find it so cool just the concept of the time travel and how it all started. And a memorizing ending. Get this game.

I find myself coming back to play this game at least once a month. It is such a comforting game and the atmosphere that it holds is like no other. It’s like cozying up with your favorite book that never gets old. I really wish there was more games by the developer that was like this, it would have so much potential. The other half of the game is definitely worth buying and the ending is such an experience. 11/10 recommend. It will always have a place in my heart.

I’ve played a lot of "creepy" point-and-click games lately, but usually the gore or spooky elements just feel tacked on for shock value, which tends to wear off quickly. The Silent Age is genuinely disquieting. That’s thanks to excellent pacing in the storytelling, the eerie minimalist score, and the emotive voice acting. The graphics are simple enough that you can see everything (and easily navigate the world) on mobile, but they’re beautifully rendered, with impressive naturalistic touches, such as the way the main character runs a hand through his hair when the player is idle. The puzzles are really fun, but rather than speeding through the cutscenes to get to the next puzzle, I was actually invested in the story. The second chapter was worth every penny. I hope more mobile games start following this pricing structure: get people hooked with a free intro, have them pay for the rest, and keep it ad-free. All in all, a perfect game.

This game is beautiful, the story is deep, and the graphics are awesome. Definitely worth buying the second part.

This game is one of my favorite mobile games. I’ve played the first part multiple times. I just paid for the second one last night and finished it in an hour. To me, it didn’t feel like a five dollar game. It was way easier than the first free portion of the game. Overall I enjoyed the game tho, I just wish the second portion was free or cheaper. Not that it’s expensive obviously but I didn’t think it was worth the 5 bucks.

I love the story line and the puzzles in the game. I would definitely play a similar game by the developers if they decided to make one.

This game really drew me in. Good puzzles that take some thought but only a few where the solution doesn’t connect. I hope they do another.

I never figured out to work the sound, but that didn't prevent me from thoroughly enjoying the game! Playing an episode a night as a wind down routine was super satisfying. In the first episode I got stuck quite a few times because you often didn't know which objects were interactive and which weren't. But once I got hang of the play mechanics, I learned to enjoy Joe's snarky and simple voice. He's not exactly a character you grow to love- he feels like your introverted uncle you see at family gatherings. It was a fun week playing the first and second episodes!

Just saw that it was released years ago. This game was amazing! I loved it! I really wished it was even longer! Lol. I’ve never bought a mobile game before but this one was interesting. Amazing work!! Really hope they made more like this game ❤️❤️

Overall it was pretty decent. Moves a little slow. Literally - the main dude moves incredibly slow. He’s trying to save the world at Sloth Speed! Also, I had trouble seeing things the dude was to pickup but I didn’t try to lighten the screen so that’s on me. Last note, the ending (I don’t want to spoil it) was… uninspired…? Hope that’s vague enough.

I really loved the first episode that I was able to play free. I considered buying the full game but I just cant bring my self to pay several dollars for the rest of it. Aside from the price I really loved it the concept and story.

I played and finished this game a while back. It’s still one of the best games I have ever played! Make a sequel please!!!

First off, I was a huge fan of Myst and Riven. Interactive puzzles that require attention without jarring immediacy. So finding The Silent Age was solid for me. I enjoy the colorful settings and the not-so-obvious clues. The other fun is attempting to do things I know I shouldn’t just to see the responses. TSA is not a long game. It is easy to set down and pick up later. And that’s what I do. Without being too intense I actually managed to finish chapter 2 in about 3 hours leisurely making my way through it. In about 2 months I will likely play part one again. Games like this take a good amount of world building and planning, and I know the devs don’t ask for much in return. Though I do hope to find a similar game to play soon.

This game was a whole MIX of emotions and that’s the reason why I love it! It’s humorous, scary and much more it really makes you feel like your there. The designs of the game is very fitting and I love the backstory and the main character, the characters don’t act like some lifeless robot they all have their own personalities and traits which is why this game is unique. But of course all things come with a price sadly… It just honestly felt so short? The gameplay was fun and I loved solving the puzzles and putting everything together as it all unravels and slowly makes more sense but it all just flashed by! It was maybe like an hour of gameplay which honestly isn’t that long if you have a lot of spare free time and it made just game me the feelings of being unsatisfied as how short the free bits of the game was. I have also read some other ratings and it seems that if you pay for the 2nd chapter it’s basically as short as the 1st chapter which is kind of a waste if your looking for longer gameplay especially if your paying for it. Overall though I think this game is amazing.

Bought chapter 2 and played through both in a day. Puzzles are simple but only because they make sense. Very well developed game with a decent story

This game was so fun and the puzzles were just hard enough to make me think, but not so hard that I had to look up a tutorial The graphics are really simplistic but they’re satisfying I really enjoyed the story and was immersed the whole time I think it’s a really cool concept for a game to use time travel to have two versions of the same location. You’re able to be in the present and gather items, and then switch to the future and use what you got from the present there. I think it’s a very original concept and it worked really well with this game. The only thing keeping me from leaving 5 stars is that you have to pay for the second chapter. I would buy it if I wasn’t broke😭 Very fun game good job I liked it a lot

Good game except I was mildly disappointed that you have to pay money to finish the game after the time I spent on it it’s kinda of went to waste. I’ve read some of the other comments which say that $5 for the 2nd part isn’t worth it. It’s a good game if you want to play in some free time but if you want a game to fully play I wouldn’t recommend this one.

What an amazing game. I played this game every night with my 7 and 4 year old kids in bed just before bedtime and we all had a blast. Simple yet interesting and keeps you hooked. Absolutely worth the price I paid for it.

At first, I was reluctant to buy the second episode, but that completely passed my expectations! Everything from the backgrounds, to the music, to the story line was all perfect! Thank you for a great game.

Absolutely loved this game. Once I played the first episode (for free mind you) I fell and I fell hard. I had never been excited for another installment or continuation of an IOS game. It had given me the same feelings as a new video game coming out on console that I really wanted to play. Please, PLEASE release an episode 3, Devs!!! (2 years later edit) Apparently, they’re done with this game and will not be updating nor making another episode. Why does everything I care about, hate me?

This is the first adventure mobile game I’ve played all the way through that has held my interest. I really loved it and am forcing all my friends to play it too.

I played this game many years ago and it has lived in my memory ever since. I just replayed it and it still holds up. It is definitely worth the money. The art is beautiful and the story is haunting.

I bought the rest of the game, which was only around $4.99 i believe. Some people say its not worth the money, but i was so sucked into the game that I have no regrets. The story is amazing and unique, and the dialogue is great, too. Some of the things the main character, Joe, says made me laugh a little because he basically called me stupid for doing the wrong thing. I love the art style, music, and the fact that it isn't too difficult and not too easy. I was a little disappointed when it ended though, it felt kind of rushed. I hope there will be some kind of sequel or a similar game after this, it was truly great :)

Best puzzle game on iPhone that isn’t some stupid crap and works

This is a very good game in my opinion. I finished the demo game in Maybe less that 2 weeks. I stoped playing when I had to buy the full game but it’s still a very good game. You should really download it. It is the best mobile puzzle game.

I like point and click horror puzzles and such but it’s hard finding ones as good as forgotten hill or that paper bride company but this is amazing I loved it and I want to buy the second part
